Happy Hump Day! I really need to write these challenges when I have more time and can think better. Almost 11pm is a little late for me to get creative and the Hubs always suggests a “Rump Day Challenge” so here goes…

Today’s Hump Day Challenge is lovingly called “Rump Day Challenge” today’s hump day challenge is an anal sex challenge. Grab the lube, I prefer the silicone lube best. Be sure to use condom safe lube if you need to use them.

anal sexThe trick to anal is to start off slow and gentle. If she is tight slowly apply pressure to her rose bud, make sure you have used enough lube to slide in. As you feel it open and slowly relax to let you in you must avoid the urge to force your way in, I know you may like it but she probably will not especially if she is new to this type of sex. Remember she has to relax too and she can’t relax if you are going ape wild on her ass! She trusts you enough to let her try anal on you so be patient and let it happen (if it doesn’t happen tonight just be cool and try again tomorrow or the next night.)

Once inside her go slow. Moving in and out isn’t always what she likes and/or what gets her close. It may be what you like but most women like is slow and gentle and add in a lot of foreplay and touching and licking and kissing. She is a lready hot for you, compliment her. Tell her she is beutriful! Don’t make her do it for longer than she wants that will make her not trust you and may jeopardize the opportunity your have in the future and the time frame for when she will let you in again.

Get ready for a TMI raw sex sort of post! The Hubs and I are on day 3 of wake up morning sex. We had a bit of a crazy Saturday Night lots of laughs with friends and 90’s music. It’s funny when you have certain experiences that make you connect and want to be connected.

We have had two, two a days in a row and are half way there for three…my goal is four, Fuck-it let’s go for it…Maybe we’ll say at least one two-a-day per week. But this week….four or more! A girl has got to set goals! (Having sex makes you want it more, having more sex makes you closer and want more sex…it is an endless cycle, so, have more sex)

Speaking of goals, I need to get back into shape! My birthday is a week from tomorrow. I have been working on getting my ass out of bed earlier, to workout, make the Hubs and kids lunch and breakfast and prep for dinner…all before work!

So here’s to a Goal setting, no a goal reaching mindset! More sex with the Hubs, workout time for me and home cooked meals for the fam! Life is so much better with those three things in place!

It’s Valentine’s Day! Happy Valentine’s Day! Hope you all had a wonderful day with your loved ones!

I woke up this morning and the Hubs and I got it on! Setting up a two-a-day! A perfect way to celebrate Valentines Day! We usually go out to dinner or do something together. We hadn’t made plans yet for today. With the Boy having his birthday party and then baseball practices and just being so busy we haven’t made plans. We did go out last night and I may have had too much to drink. I was hungover this AM and now I feel like I am trying to get the flu. I feel cold and feverish or we probably would go do something. But for now we have watched two Hunger Games movies (I can’t decide if I love or hate them I can’t handle watching the killing parts).

The Hubs and I are chilling on the couch. Took the boy to a sleepover with his buddy for his buddies birthday, the girl is here chilling too. The Hubs grilled up some amazing steaks that the Girl and I picked out earlier. She and I went to the store earlier and spoiled the boys (Hubs and the Boy) with gifts for Valentine’s Day after we got pedicures done. It has been a nice Valentines Day.

Even though the Hubs and I have had a romantic date and no flowers or chocolates were bought, I am quite happy and content today! I hope I am not getting sick but I am happy regardless. I love my family. I am going to power through and complete a two-a-day with him! (At least that is my intention, the mind is willing) I ❤ 2-a-days!

Well, I got my wish. I got the late shift on Friday nights. Tonight when I got to the bar it was crazy! It was a crazy midshift. When I arrived it was crazy busy. It takes me a while to acclimate to places so as I arrived at work tonight I just felt out of sorts. I think my co-worker who happens to be my favorite doesn’t really enjoy working with me. I am a rookie and she has done this for 20+ years. I try hard and hopefully she will begin to like working with me!

So my Dr that I work for came in tonight to see me in action. I don’t know if he was more impressed with the fact that I did 4 massages today or by my boobs. I wore a nice booby shirt today! He was definitely impressed with me. He brought my favorite receptionist too!

So today I did 4 massages, had some family time, made Mac-n-Cheese, picked up the girl from dance, then went to work bartending and now, I am blogging at 2am! Yep it was that kind of day! And now I am sitting having a drink with my other boss and the Hubs. I am okay with this Friday!

Well today was the boy’s first All-Star game. They lost, sad day! But the Boy played a good game. The other team’s pitchers were really good! Much better than any we have seen all season! The Boy is playing Center Field. I tend to have crushes on Center Fielders, we can thank Ken Griffey Jr for that one! And of course my boy is my favorite Little Leaguer it is fitting that he is playing my crush position! All the kids did alright, I am super impressed with the Boy not that he was perfect but that he bounced back after every mistake and even after he struck out. I could see him react and want to get down and angry, then he shifted his attention to the next play or the next player coming up to bat and gave him a good luck high five. He has really matured in baseball this year. They tend to hang on every strike and ball or every out. They must learn they can’t live and die by every play..good or bad. It is a long game and it needs your full attention each and every play. Short memories and clean slates and focus! My boy did good at that today I am proud of him! Next game is Tuesday!

The Hub’s is currently working on putting a new microwave in for me. We have an over the range microwave and ours died this morning. So after baseball today we headed out to search for a new microwave. The one we had served us well! We put it in probably about 11 years ago. We redid our kitchen 9 years ago but did not need to replace the microwave then. There is nothing hotter

than watching my husband working on my house. I love seeing him with a tool in hand and installing things. He is not as much of a fan because everything is never level and he gets so frustrated that he can’t make it perfect. If he ever builds me a house we will have to start from the ground up and hire contractors with very thick skin and the passion for perfection like my husband! I love the dedication this man has for our family and for making sure we have the best of everything and it is not only done safe and correctly but it looks as good as it made! I haven’t even taken photos of him working. I know how much he hates it, I hope he doesn’t think I don’t care since I am not snapping a photo of my hottie working hard in the kitchen!

So, tonight is primed for a two a day night. This AM we got a little frisky in the shower. During football season we have a ritual before football games, unfortunately our ritual did not help today, our team still lost but that still means that we can have a two a day and be “plus one”`for July! Woohoo!!!!! Between watching him work and knowing how much he enjoys the idea of two a days it’s a shoe in that I am getting lucky tonight… or he is… we both are! Sunday Funday = Two-a-day!

Looking forward to a fun week of baseball. The kids leaving for Yellow Stone (depending on baseball we may only lose one kid this week). So a bit of a break is coming soon which is good it will give me time to catch up and organize a bit and maybe by the time they are back I can have a better routine in place for this newly working mommy/homemaker self and get everything organized better! I love my life!

Damn it! We messed up last night! We fell asleep on the lovers holiday we forgot to make love! Oops! I fell asleep last night and so did The Hubs! We committed to Sex Love and Washing Clothes and #Everyday2015 but fell asleep last night! On Valentines Day of all days! The Holiday for lovers! I am sure there are people who have really crappy sex lives and  only have sex on special occasions that got it on last night and The Hubs and I couldn’t stay up for it? WTF dude?! I am so embarrassed, angry, annoyed with  myself, I feel like I have let down my followers…. But know this friends, we are all human even Ruby Earl gets caught up with life sometimes.
We went out for drinks sang some karaoke we were talking about Super Bowl 45 where The Who did the half time show. I love the song “Reign O’er Me” When we got home we cued it up on our phones and listened to it in bed. I was already all snuggy in bed when The Hubs came in with the speaker, we connected his phone to it via Bluetooth and listened. I felt myself getting sleepy and he said “Do you just want to go to sleep?” I said “NO” but he snuggled up next to me we were both subtly rubbing each other’s ‘special areas’ but we both fell asleep in that exact spot. We woke up this morning and I was instantly bummed, The Hubs said “Well, we made it to Valentines Day”.  Noooooo!!!!!!! It’s not over! I will not give up on it! We will make up for it! We did. We had a quicky before Grandma dropped off the kids this morning. So we will get a two a day today but damn! We missed a day. It feels like a sad walk of shame!
Guess I could have just lied and not told you about it. But that is not me. Neither is just shutting down this blog and ending Sex Love and Washing Clothes all together. No I am fighter and a worker, I will achieve what I set out to…for the most part, one day is not a set back. It is just one day! I will not give up! I will continue to do Sex Love and Washing Clothes every day. It has been good for me and everyone else in this household. My house is cleaner, my husband and I are getting along better, overall. We have our moments but we have learned to communicate with each other, trust that we mean well for each other even when we have a negative moment and be patient during those negative moments. Is because we have had sex everyday this year? I don’t know, but it is one thing I had hoped to happen when I started Sex Love and Washing Clothes. I will not make excuses or use this a reason to stop or give up! I will continue. I will become a better wife, a better lover, a better writer and a better mom. 
My February has started off a little rocky in the taking care of me department. I was a little melancholy from the Seahawks Superbowl loss, not very committed to keeping my eating healthy plan and have not started a workout program that I had told myself would be my focus for February! So here goes my planning you Sex Love and Washing Clothes readers are my accountability group! I will run at least 5 days a week. There are 14 days left in this month so I plan to and want to get in 25 miles so that is a little more than 2 miles per run. That is my February workout plan. The clothes are in the laundry so that part of my Bare Necessities is on track. Sex will happen every day and we will add in at least one two a day today so the average of once a day will workout and maybe a few more two a days to balance out the month!!

TMI?

Last night was the first Saturday of dry January as I am calling it, and also Sex Love and Washing Clothes and the first night hanging with our friends at the local watering hole!  We like to tip a few back and I rarely drive home, the Hubs is the one who stays sober… because sober Ruby and a not so sober Hubs, usually results in coming home and hoping he falls asleep and/or me promising morning sex because honestly he is not so in tuned to me when he is less than sober. The drunk Hubs and Sober me usually are a little of oil and water when it comes to sex. However, it’s Sex Love and Washing Clothes, so, the aforementioned scenario was not an option.  What was I going to do? I got honest with my drunk Husband…”Can you touch me slower and softer than you feel necessary because when you are drunk you tend to be not so in tune with me” is what I said.  I also said, ” remember, you’re drunk, I am not.” Which was the right thing to say and he obviously was listening because OH MY GOODNESS it was some great sex. Which I was never realized was an option given the sober to drunk ratio, but he did exactly what I asked, and more! I should have tried this sooner!!!!
 
I love my husband and I love spending time with him away from the house (he tends to see bills and messes and stress in the four walls of the house). We have great friends we hang with and have a good time with, so, we like to escape at least one night a week, (sometimes more).  We don’t always get tipsy but I do enjoy our time a little tipsy, the relaxed atmosphere of being more real and uncensored. Especially my Grape Vodka nights… Have you heard the song “Tequilla Makes Her Clothes Fall Off”  Well for me it’s usually Grape Vodka and The Hubs knows and likes that, most of the time.  However, he also knows what else I like and he knows what my turn on buttons are, and he is not afraid to use them. …So how detailed do I get here? Will I lose readers or scare them from this post, like I’ve said before “Fuck It” I’m gonna be real!  My husband is great at oral sex! ….OH MY WORD.  This is one of those turn on buttons that often starts good sex, I get it from him all the time! Just not usually when he is not sober. But I have never requested him to be more in tune the way I did, so directly, last night. I am blessed and lets just say that the request of being gentler and slower was just what I needed to say to him and it worked!  So sober Ruby and drunk Hubs can, did and will work well all of 2015.  However, I think I liked it may have been a little too fast but was still well received on both sides, if you know what I mean. ….there was the TMI part….oops 😉
 
Normally, waking up Sunday mornings usually means finishing what was started and did not finish on Saturday night or sometimes didn’t even start on Saturday night… sometimes it is a replay quick or sometimes not so quick depending on a lot of different factors…. Many Sunday mornings the kids are at Gramma’s so we have a lot of freedom but this AM the kiddos were home so we were quickish and quiet but we are half way to a “Sunday Two a Day” Is this TMI yet? …I love 2015!!!
 
The point of this post for me was: that this was a good reminder that we do not need Grape Vodka for good sex. The Hubs will listen to me if I am honest and upfront with him and not scared that he will get offended or upset. BE HONEST!! I think the promise of Sex Love and Washing Clothes has relaxed both him and I.  It has opened me up to the fact sober/drunk sex is going to happen and that it can be really good…who knew?!
 
Last night and again this morning the Hubs said “I can’t wait to read your blog”…wonder what he thinks? 
 
BTW on the washing clothes and love notes:  clothes were transferred into the dryer, dishes started and breakfast was a great homemade Egg scramble and are at a friends house currently the Hubs is helping him work on his house. Kids are playing and the other wife here is washing dishes and tending her kids. Enjoying a great family day.  So it’s time for me to get back to them!  Enjoy!

Two-a-Days and Locks

Happy Friday that feels like a Monday. Although many of you may still be enjoying vacation, the Hubs had to go back to work so it feels like Monday here. I hope everyone got to enjoy New Years Day with family and friends.
Today on the Sex Love and Washing Clothes agenda is probably taking down Christmas.  Washing Dark clothes and folding the rest of the clothes that are clean, only about 3 loads, two of which are towels, actually as I look over I see about half a load of towels are folded they got done yesterday morning.  Then, it’s Friday which is sure to be a fun time in the sac, okay honestly I am hoping it’s not in the sac, I am hoping for sex in my ‘favorite spot”. The Husband’s favorite spot is the same the actions are slightly different, just as enjoyable.  (Maybe in the future I will get into more details but for now I am keeping it PG…well, maybe not PG, PG-13?…..Alright it is already R rated I am just not ready to go into the 50 Shades of Ruby yet so let me warm up a bit and feel this blogging thing out and I will get more detailed….possibly)
Yesterday, I mentioned that it may be the first ‘two a day’ in 2015. (Which it was BTW, yay me!)  So let me explain a two a day, or actually, define “a day”.  This was a heated debate (not in a negative way) one night driving a friend of ours home around 2 am.  My questions was “If we get it on again (since we had already had sex before we went out that night) will it still count as a two a day, since it is ‘tomorrow’ already?” It was decided that a “day” will be defined as: from when you get up on a particular day in the morning until you go to sleep in your bed at night even if the night ends at 5 am. You are not stuck on the 24 hour calendar clock day.  So technically you could get in a two (or three a day) if you have morning sex Saturday and then go out to a late show Saturday Night and have one last romp when you get home at 1 am Sunday morning. However the 1 am Sunday sex will not count toward two a day Sunday it will count toward Saturday. The 1 am sex was technically (for these purposes) Saturday before you went to sleep.  This is a fun debate the Hubs and I have had and do occasionally change and/or bend the rules slightly. Got it? Good now go get it, twice!
Two a days are fun they tend to happen on weekends when the kids spend the night at grandma’s. However, we do not limit ourselves to kidless nights and/or mornings for sex. We have taught our kids to knock before they come into our bedroom. We don’t have a lock on our door but we have double doors and tie a a bathrobe tie around the door knobs when we need more “privacy”.  It works. The kids have in the past tried to come in and couldn’t get the door opened and learned to knock and do not even try the door anymore.  I think as they are getting older (8 and 10) they realize if we have tied the door they know they don’t want in. So if I can be educational for a minute, invest in a lock for your door!  Don’t let that be an excuse even if it’s a bathrobe tie 🙂  On a side note, be careful and try not to sleep with the door locked, sometimes in the middle of the night a sleepy child doesn’t think to knock and gets confused and/or scared when they can’t get in. Take a minute to lock the door when you wake up to go pee (because we all know we have to take that step before a good session of loving).
So go have a two a day or just leave options open for morning sex (that is when the lock comes in handy). Love your kids and love you spouse…and by love your spouse I mean have hot steamy weekend sex behind a locked door 🙂
