Good morning!!! We are sitting here at the B&B in our room enjoying the view and snow on the ground. I am lounging on the bed watching the fire. This bed is really cool! It is a 4 post bed, wish we would have brought the bondage kit, there are a lot of places and ways to tie one up with this. I did bring one scarf…might have to buy a new one in town.

I am excited to have a weekend away. I have already opened up my mind in my writing again. Funny thing, a friend sent a message to me yesterday asking of a hotel with a Jacuzzi tub. She said they just wanted to get away for the night. Apparently they have been doing a lot of Love and Washing Clothes but needed some privacy and spark for Sex. The Hubs doesn’t get that. I am afraid of people judging me! I worry sometimes being a massage therapist and mom what people would say of they knew I was talking openly about sex and Anal play and toys ect. But then I realize that is a very prudish and judgemental mindset and if they want to judge me like that, Fuck them! If I was distributing sex advice to teenagers or children or mailing out pamphlets that would be different. I am trying to support adult relationships here. Good sex can save your marriage!

There are so many reason to relax and enjoy sex! There is no reason to be ashamed and there are so many reasons to get more suggestions advice and help. Let’s face it, you’re not talking about lube or sharing exciting stories of experiences for suggestions of new positions when your watching your kid’s baseball game! It feels good to be heading out of town for a little weekend away! The Hubs will be working, however, it still will be a nice escape. He is helping out a buddy with a house project. I hear there is snow where we are going. Not sure I am prepared for that but I am sure there are heaters and blankets in our room at the B&B we are staying.

I have never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. I am excited. I called our friend to see if they can set The Hubs up with a little surprise in our room because it is his Birthday on Sunday!! I didn’t think about it until this afternoon. I also told him it was no big deal so no worries. We’ll see what he comes up with, if anything. If I would have thought about it I could have made a sign to hang in the room or on the door with a little care package! But oh well. That’s the normal crazy Ruby shit that I do, think of after the fact or too late.

It’s about a three hour drive. I am a bit nervous, is a Bed and Breakfast just a big house? Or is it actually like a hotel? I hope the walls aren’t paper thin. The Hubs and I plan to test out some new lube in the Jo Premium line. They have a huge selection of products now and even sell some supplements and cosmetic type stuff. We just selected two this time. We have All Natural Organic Lube with Chamomile to try and a new type of water based Anal Lube…oops here I go being TMI again. Most of you don’t mind and many of you probably miss that from when I first started, right? Well, Jo Premium has redone their whole line of products. New packaging, new products and options, ingredients and all. Our local sex megastore has been redone. It is not as much of a “Megastore” any longer it is much smaller and feels more boutique-y. Which is nice, especially for shy girls like me. So the new Jo line anchors it over on the side wall. Right before you get to all the Higher end toys!

FYI, the new Anal toy that I wrote about yesterday was nice. We brought it with us in the suitcase. (No leaving it on the nightstand here!) Anyway, I am hoping for a safe trip we have about an hour left or so to drive. Can’t wait to experience a Bed and Breakfast see some old friends (including one of my besties who I miss desperately) It will be a great weekend trip. Quick but much needed weekend away!

IMG_20160310_205252398Good news, the Hub’s feels better today. He said his back is still bothering him a bit but as the day went on he said it felt better. I hope it is nothing major, we’ll wait and see how it goes.

Since we missed date night and needed to run a few errands we snagged Gma to come and watch the kids for a bit so we could go out and have a date! Even though we are going away for the weekend we needed to get out! So we decided to go to the local sex superstore and look around. A while back, I believe, I left my Butt Plug at a hotel we stayed in this fall. So we decided it was time to replace it. This time I went for a baby blue sparkle. I have missed that thing. I enjoy me some DP is nice every now and then!

Then it’s time to grab a beer at the Taproom. I am drinking a Black and Red which is an Irish Stout on top of a Red Ale. It pretty good. Time to enjoy the Hub’s and our date! Then later we can try out our new purchases we also bought some new types of lube from Jo Premium. Will share my findings about those in the future!

The Hubs worked late teaching and by the time he was home I was spent. I didn’t feel good, made excuse after excuse and he took my sexual “advance” as not a serious bid for sex, can’t blame him it was weak. So today is the new beginning! We kind of got into an argument over it but regardless we didn’t have sex yesterday! Today is a new day!

Today, actually I feel normal again. After being sick last week and kind of in a fog for a while I feel focused and in control of my life again. I am super busy at work but I kind of feel like I have a new rhythm and routine. No working at the bar tonight, no kids or husband sick, not sick myself and now I am ready to commit to this life and regain control! No more playing from behind the 8 ball, not that I really understand that analogy I don’t play much pool, but I am ready to start 2016 again! So here we go!

I had a good day, did one load of laundry (even though it is still in the dryer) cooked dinner for the fam, the house is clean-ish and I feel accomplished for the day! The kids are in bed and even got in their reading today now it is time to sit next to my husband on the couch and snuggle then mount up for some naked adult fun before we drift off to sleep for the night! I am ready for this. I know I have a lot on my plate but I am ready to conquer this thing called my life! Here we go Ruby get ready to turn this life around! I got this!

Well we made it through 2015. I received sad news yesterday that a Dance Dad and friend passed away yesterday so when I wrote “we made it through” I felt something morbid or said or guilty that we made it and not everyone in that family did. While we are all planning our events of how we are going to bring in the new year that particular family is probably planning a memorial of how they will remember their father and husband’s life. He was a great guy and will be missed. I don’t believe he would approve of any of us morning or slowing down our celebrations or joy because of him. He probably would love it if we could take “good photos” of all of it! He was what my children lovingly referred to as our own paparazzi. He will be missed. This is a good reminder for me to not live in sadness and to live life to it’s fullest. Not everyday is guaranteed.

Dr-Seuss-Youer-QuoteSo for a bit of a review of 2015. Last year I had decided to Have sex, wash clothes/clean house every day. I was sure it would help my relationship, and house organization skills ect. Well I blogged everyday. I had sex most days but I am not certain that it made my relationship better. I think my relationship is better today than a year ago but we still have rough times. The kids did great picking up chores over the summer and I hired a house keeper to come in every two weeks but was not pleased with her work and stopped having her come a few weeks ago and now I am needing to get a new house cleaning service, but haven’t had time to interview one. However, I feel my in-between house cleaner visits, my keeping up with it work is shining! Last time my Gma June Cleaver was here, she complimented how well I had been doing! Made me feel good (even though it was the day after house cleaner day) it is a process of constant work folks there’s no way around it. You just have to do it! (Bluh!!)

So I love to blog, I love my family, I love my life! I excel in the Love piece of this trinity! I want to keep doing it. I may not do it everyday in 2016 but I haven’t decided yet. I’ve thought of many scenarios including doing 3 a week one sex blog, one love blog and one washing clothes blog. But that may be too much structure for me. I may just blog on weekdays or when I feel so lead. I don’t know I want to try to keep them long enough to be enjoyed but short enough to give readers a chance to read in one trip to the bathroom or a bus ride or something. This post is reaching that “too long to read” limit but I have so much more to say!

You all have learned a lot about me this year. Maybe too much TMI but I have really enjoyed being free to write and put my thoughts out there and I am also pleased to say I never wrote anything I had to remove, or felt regretful about. There was one day I blogged angry, the hubs said he hated my post that day I said I know you do. and I gave him the option to write a “rebuttle but he declined) and the next day I posted about “making up” and how I felt I maybe shouldn’t have blogged so angry and may have painted the Hubs side in a bad light. I got a few likes on the I may have been wrong post vs the angry rant I made got zero …I see who side you are all on! Just kidding, it’s not about taking sides in life. I wanted to be real and that was real and so was the next day about making up you fight and you make up it is all part of life! It is about living free. So here are some last thoughts and lessons from 2015, okay maybe some advice:

  • Live Free
  • don’t get offended if someone “takes the other side” (they probably have not
  • Don’t feel like you have to pick a side.
  • Love with reckless abandon!
  • Have crazy sex just for fun …as much as you want
  • Have romantic sex aka Make Love …as much as you want
  • Don’t be afraid to try something new, in life, love or in bed
  • Be the lover you want, and the one your lover wants
  • Love the lover you have, be with the one you love
  • Push through the hard times they are temporary
  • Have sex more!
  • Love more!
  • Wash clothes more
  • Be You
  • Love yourself
  • Don’t judge

Okay that list was long so I cut myself off. It’s funny how some things on that list although different are much the same! I have loved this year blogging! I am loving being a working mom but still hate labels! Every mom is a working mom some just work outside the home as well! I don’t have my 2016 plan yet but I will keep blogging and keep Sex Love and Washing Clothes-ing! I am feeling the “Sweet 16” will need to be part of my plan or goal or resolutions for the year. Ok, so I teased it yesterday! Today’s Hump Day Challenge is to give your man a prostate orgasm. Today was Day 2 of Disney. Today was California Adventure day! It was again an amazing day! We had to bribe the Boy and force the girl onto the California Screaming rollercoaster ride. Only tobget “THAT WAS AWESOME!” on the way out from the ride neither wanted to take! It is Wednesday, which is obviously Hump Day Challenge Day. I am on vacation, sleeping in a travel trailer with the kids and In-laws so there will be no Hump Day Challenging here, but I will still challenge you!

Today’s Hump Day Challenge is to have an adventure. Do something risky, something dating or maybe even something you have never tried. Listen and get help from your partner if they have done it before. Be adventurous. Maybe you want to have sex in and elevator or fuck in the backseat of your car. Do it or maybe it is a new position or trying Anal for the first time! Don’t be scared. Don’t let fear stop you! Be fucking adventurous while your fucking.

That is all I have today! I am on a family high from Disneyland’s California Adventure, my favorite part was Radiator Springs. Where you walk through the movie Cars. Here we go hump day challengers! Today’s hump day challenge is to play a game and make is sexy. This idea came from the Hubs today. He had to work late teaching tonight so he won’t be home until 10 or so. Wednesday is normally date night and G-ma usually comes to watch the kids. She had to help me today get the kids as my dance class and The Boy’s Wrestling practice conflict.

Playing Sorry…. you know what to do.  Just pick a fun board game or video game the two of you can play and interact together while playing. There has to be a win or lose option. Every time you lose you take off a piece of clothing. If you want to add something you can add that the winner gets to choose which piece of clothing. For your comfort feel free to turn up the furnace for a while during your game. You will be more comfortable if you are not cold.  If you are lucky enough to have a sexy or X-rated board game drag it out after the kids go to bed (they probably already are) and play!

Today’s Hump Day Challenge is inspired by Homecoming season and a random student in my Zumba classes a while back when I used to teach. The student said Zumba helped her sex life. WHAT?! House Cleaner Saves the Day!

Well, it’s Friday evening at almost 10pm. I had 4 massages then worked mid shift at the bar tonight (4-9). I had a lingering Migraine from yesterday which tells me it was more migraine less hangover. I had a pretty good day. My massages went well and my shift at the bar was good. I gave away a $750 jackpot in Pull Tabs which always makes for a fun day. It was slow-wish but steady. The hubs and I started off a little rocky as we both are stretched pretty thin these days with our schedule and all. I am glad I have him and that we can get past some of these “special moments” without having a huge falling out. We love each other and we like to spend time together and when we can’t we get stressed and miss each other with is kindling for a fire of a fight but we are learning to not let it ruin us. On a bright note: Today was House cleaner day! So the house is nice and clean (aside from some laundry that needs to get put away) so we can just enjoy each other and not worry about the mess that we have to pick up or clean. So we can just enjoy each other.

Personalities cleanI really would like to spend every second of every day with him. We have so much fun together we are great companions. We love being together and we try to make as much time as possible to be with each other. We do a lot of things together. With football season being in full swing us going out on a Friday is a little bit of a bad idea so that we can have a good nights rest so that we can all be ready for the game tomorrow. So we are sitting on the couch watching a movie. Up next is some Hot Tub time!
